大同卡尔本炭素有限公司成立于2001年9月，是美国卡尔岗、卡尔本股份公司与其中国伙伴大同惠宝活性炭有限公司的合资企业。
Datong carbon corporation Ltd(DCC),was established in
September 2001,as a joint venture by Datong Huibao Activated
Carbon Corporation and Calgon Carbon Corporation(U.S.A)
成立以来，大同卡尔本的首期投资金额便已超过了30000000元人民币。
Since its recent creation, the first investments of DCC
have already exceeded RMB 30000000.
大同卡尔本炭素有限公司地处山西省北部，在大同经济技术开发区的中轴线上，得益于其从美国直接进口的模压设施，公司依靠配套的造粒技术，主要从事优质活性炭的生产。
Located on the central ax of Datong Economic and Technology
Development Zone in north of ShanXi Province, DCC has its
major activity focused on the production of high quality
active carbon by using the adequate agglomeration technology
with the so called Press-room installation imported form
the United States.
工艺水平及生产能力
在大同卡尔本模压造粒厂的工艺流程中，煤炭预混料波研磨成细粉，而后重新模压成块状并根据需要制成颗粒料。
这样一套工艺方法在技术上是过硬的。其加工成果能让我们在生产蒸气法活性炭的时候满足关键的品质要求：均匀的微孔结构、恒定的密度、持久的活跃性等。
当今各种各样的净化工艺，需要把炭素重新活化，我们的最终产品尤其适用于实现这个目标。也就是说，避免了用后焚烧，从而进一步善待环境。
模压造粒厂的设备能力为每天180吨，既每年6万吨压块颗粒料。可以生产高品质活性炭近20000000公斤。
Process
Quality and Capcity
Through
the process of DCC'S press-room, a coal mix is ground into
very fine powder, which is reagglomerated, and eventually
granulated.
The result
of this process, well proved technically, allows us to meet
the key quality requirements for steam acviv-ated carbon
production: Homogeneous porous str-ucture, constant density,
steady activity, etc……
The final product is particularly compatible
with a variety o purification processes where the reactivation
is needed, i.e.avoiding to burn the saturated product hence
environmental friendly.
The nominal capacity of the press-room
unit is 180 tons per day or above 60000 tons per year of
agglomerated coal granules, due to produce about 20000 tons
of activated carbon.
