 山西柴油机厂铸造厂隶属中国兵器工业总公司，是国内最大的铝合金铸造基地。铸造厂房面积15000平方米，其中铸铝生产占10000平方米，铝合金年熔化能力达7000吨，年生产合格铝合金铸件能力为4000吨，其中铝合金压铸件达500吨。拥有各种铸造（熔炉、造型［芯］、浇注、热处理、补焊、浸渗等）设备及装置460余台，具有普通砂型、金属型、低压、压铸、真空吸铸和高压釜等浇注工艺。还有引进国外的冷硬树脂砂造型、制芯生产线和先进的炉前分析设备、尺寸检测设备，以保证铝铸件的产品质量。
工厂的铝铸件生产能力除生产本厂柴油机铝铸件外，还面向社会、广泛进行协作配套。现已与“北京吉普车有限公司”和“江西江铃汽车有限公司”建立了配套关系，成批生产汽车发动机前盖、气缸盖、节温器壳、进气歧管等铝件。

Shanxi Diesel Engine Factory Foundry
Sub factory, Which belongs to China North Industry Corporations
, is the biggest aluminum casting factory in china. The workshop
area is 15000M2,the aluminum casting occupies 10000M2.The
annual aluminum melting capacity is 7000 tons, annual aluminum
castings throughput is 4000 tons, among them are some 500
tons of die castings. The foundry has many kinds of casting
machines about 460, such as furnaces, moulding and core making,
heat treatment, mend welding, permeating, etc .It also has
kinds of casting technics, for example ,sand mould ,metal
moud, low pressure, die castings, vacuum suction,high pressure,
etc. It also has imported resin sand moulding and core making
production lines, prior casting analysis and casting dimension
measarement instruments to control the castings quality.
Besides the castings, manufacturing
for the diesel engines, the foundry also provides castings
for other companies, such as Beijin Jeep Co.Ltd and Jisng
Xi Jiagn ling Motor Co.Ltd. These aluminum castings include
car engine front cover, cylinder cover, temperature adjusting
device shell, intake manifold, etc. Till now, the foundry
still has potential throughput and broad prospects, Welcome
